Our Purpose

Why the Foundation exists.

The primary mission of the Michelle Francisco Foundation is to uplift underserved communities through sustainable housing projects, educational support, healthcare access, sustainable livelihood, sustainable mobility solutions, disaster relief, and youth empowerment programs.

Quoted from the Foundation’s Certificate of Incorporation, Article THIRD, filed with the Delaware Secretary of State on 4 August 2025.

The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and humanitarian purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and is recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt with effect from 6 August 2025. It is not organized for pecuniary profit, it has no capital stock, and no part of its net earnings may be distributed to any director, officer or individual.

What the Foundation is chartered to do

The Certificate of Incorporation authorizes the Foundation to engage in activities including, but not limited to, the following. This is the chartered scope of the Foundation, not a list of programs currently running — see Programs.

  • Sustainable housing for the deserving families
  • Providing scholarships and learning resources
  • Organizing health missions and medical assistance
  • Supporting sustainable livelihood and skills training
  • Sustainable mobility donations for public transport operators
  • Disaster relief for natural calamities and disasters
  • Collaborating with local and international partners for community development

The Foundation will honor any donation designated by a donor to a specific charitable entity.

Programs

What your gift supports.

Pending governing documents. The list of programs actually operating, and what each one delivers must be taken verbatim from the Foundation’s board-approved program plan and minutes rather than drafted here. Supply the document and this block is filled in.

The Foundation was granted tax-exempt status with effect from 6 August 2025 and is in its start-up phase. A program is listed here only once the Board has approved it and it is genuinely operating — described in plain terms, so a donor can tell who is served, where, and what the money pays for. The Foundation’s chartered scope is set out under Our Purpose.

The Foundation does not claim any partner, sponsor or collaborating institution on this site unless a signed agreement is in place.
